Formerly known as Car & Away, Karshare are the leading innovator in peer-to-peer car sharing. They see a future where we will share cars in our neighbourhoods like we share hospitals, parks and schools. It’s an exciting space, and they are a fast-growing company with a clear purpose and vision.

Rebranding to Karshare just before launch in the Spring of 2020 allowed the business to claim the category ahead of anyone else; launching their service for embattled front-line key workers at the heart of the COVID pandemic gave them a moral authority that cemented that category leadership. Hundreds of car owners across the UK donated their cars free of charge so that those in the front line of the pandemic could travel to and from work in safety.

The country took Karshare to heart during that period, and it has provided a strong bedrock for the brand as it continues to roll out its commercial service.
